What is Community Supported Art?

The idea for Community Supported Art is inspired by my work on my sustainable farm. Perhaps you have heard of Community Supported Agriculture or even participated in one! It is a system in which a farm operation is supported by shareholders within the community who share both the benefits and risks of food production. My Community Supported Art membership works in a similar way. It allows folks to support my artistic practice throughout the creative process while also receiving pieces of finished art throughout the year.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

There are 3 different share sizes available each with different items share holders will receive throughout the year. All funds raised from the CSA go towards creating these items and supporting my creative work in 2022. In 2022 I plan to complete a video editing course, develop and practice self-tape techniques so that I may begin working solo in more remote locations, participate in a screendance course focused on creating in the natural landscape with master artist Katrina McPherson, continue the distribution of my film, the I's have it, and begin project planning for a larger work premiering in late 2023.

what's in it for me aS A CSA share holder?

For me the creative process fuels compassion and heals my mind, body, and spirit. My hope is that by being on this journey with me you will experience this too!

HOW do I jOIN?

Check out the share options below. If joining through my website does not work for you please let me know.
